Confirmed SciFi Pilot Pickups - 05/11/07

Today the Hollywood Reporter confirms the following SciFi pilots will be announced as pick ups for Fall 2007 season next week:

Struggling as a bartender and surrogate mom to her teen-aged sister, Jamie Sommers didn’t think life could get much harder. I don’t have any new information on those shows yet, but I should be able to get a look at the pilots next month. And though its interesting to see a good pilot, its even more interesting to see how they string out the storyline into a series. Only time will tell if these two series survive long enough to be viable as specs for those wanting break into the television writing business.
