Saturn Awards Announced: See What SciFi Works
May 11th, 2007 by DanO
SciFi.com’s SciFiWire has the winners list for the 33rd Annual Saturn Awards. The Saturn Awards honor the best in Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror in Film and Television. The interesting part of the list for writers is seeing what shows/films you should be paying attention to. ‘Heroes’, ‘Battlestar Galactica’ and the film ‘Superman Returns’ locked up the top awards.
I’ll be expanding on the subject of what shows make for good television. Take my word for it when I say ‘Heroes’ is an acceptable sample script to get work as a television writer and ‘Battlestar Galactica’ is not. Put down the laser pistol, cowboy. I don’t make the rules. But I’ll explain them (such as they are) soon.
